Fun Fact: I landed in Louisville due to Hurricane Katrina, but stayed these past several years because of my partner, who lived there. I really fell in love with Louisville and enjoyed my time there and will always stay connected. It was a wonderful place to be while recuperating from the trauma of Katrina and definitely nurtured my creativity and artistic career.
Artistic Endeavors: My Barack Obama stencil design was donated to the campaign and 20,000 bicycle spoke cards were made utilizing it, thanks to artist Shepard Fairey.
Other Accomplishments: I’m the music editor at Curve Magazine, was a DJ for 20 years, and used to run my own production-promotions company in New Orleans called Girl Gang Productions (for which I was named one of the "40 under 40" in New Orleans in 2004.)
